Branan applies his communications expertise, keen attention to detail, and inherent desire to do good to enhance access to education opportunities for people and communities nationwide. Through close collaboration with his clients’ leadership and staff, he intentionally crafts plans to deliver compelling content to the right audiences and stakeholders through effective strategies and tactics.

Before joining Collaborative, Branan spent a decade strengthening nonprofits and charitable foundations through strategic communications. He has led traditional and digital media campaigns for initiatives and organizations advancing several causes, including education, the arts, healthy aging, veterans’ services, nonprofit capacity building, and disaster recovery. Throughout his career, he has worked diligently to uplift teammates and clients, establish and grow trusted relationships with his clients’ core partners, and capitalize on opportunities to align communications efforts and engage new networks of support.

Branan earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of Leadership Florida’s Connect Class Program, which spans industry boundaries to develop the Sunshine State’s existing and emerging young leaders. He previously chaired Leadership Florida’s Calusa Region Council, creating opportunities for leaders of all ages throughout southwest Florida to convene and collaborate on ways to build stronger communities.
