Developed Search Institute’s brand identity, messaging, and thought leadership strategy to align with strategic priorities, amplify impact, and reflect their commitment to youth.

Led the comprehensive rebranding of the organization, including the development of brand positioning and key messages, creation of a thought leadership platform, website and logo design, establishment of visual identity, talking points and supporting materials, digital marketing, technical assistance,and extending support for key partners as needed.

Leading a statewide communications campaign to ensure Arizonans throughout the state hear, become familiar with, and repeat powerful messaging—and ensure that they see significant increases in degree and certificate attainment as a statewide imperative.

Created the brand identity, communications materials for providers and families, and led the strategy for disseminating the materials to local communities.

Events

Managed the logistical planning for a student leadership conference in Washington, DC, overseeing multiple vendor and hotel contracts. Collaborative’s role included organizing an offsite reception for VIP guests, the annual Board of Directors meeting, and a DC tour for the youth attendees.

Provided site selection, theme development, vendor coordination, online registration, participant travel arrangements and on-site support for this showcase of STEM Next’s 2023 Flight Crew, an event that served 350 attendees.

Developed and managed the virtual 2022 Hawaii Statewide Assessment Roadshow, spearheading agenda and asset designs, participant registration, speaker and session management, technical production, material development, and day-of support for an event with more than 900 attendees.

Collaborative’s communications and logistics support helped bring youth delegates from almost every state to the Dirksen Senate Office Building, where they were able to meet with Democratic and Republican Congressional representatives, as well as US Senator Debbie Stabenow. Collaborative managed all catering, AV, and decoration and provided on-site support.

Collaborative worked closely with the League of Innovative Schools to coordinate a multi-day conference of over 300 district partners and superintendents. Collaborative provided extensive leadership in overall project and event logistics management, prospectus development, and event sponsorship support.

Collaborative facilitated the planning of a youth-led convening in Chicago with over 150 attendees, supporting with venue and vendor management, group travel booking, agenda development and overall project leadership.

Reported on the state of local journalism and media consolidation trends in the foundation’s priority regions.

Created content, designed and produced the embassy’s annual Report to the Ugandan People.

Co-edited, designed, and produced STEM Ready America, a compendium of articles experts on the state of the field of STEM learning.

Developed a series of case studies focused on the use of flexible financing structures to fund comprehensive community programs.

Co-wrote, edited, and produced numerous research and policy briefs and reports, including Billions to Gain, a landmark report on the economic impact of college attainment.

Strategic Planning

Provide marketing and strategic guidance to enhance awareness and expand reach of Public Impact’s Opportunity Culture initiative.

Conducted an extensive strategic planning process including staff, board, and members to set future direction for NCAN.

Develop messages and design to communicate key findings from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report calling for a system of indicators that monitor undergraduate STEM education and track progress towards improvement over time.
