Madi Carzon is a communications and advocacy strategist with deep passion for education equity and diverse learning experiences. She believes in the power of communications to drive change for children, families, educators, and communities.

Madi combines her campaign and public policy experience with communications expertise to provide clients with thoughtful strategic counsel. Her experience with message research, testing, and development empowers clients with the insights they need to reach and move their target audiences. Madi has helped nonprofit, philanthropic, government, and public policy organizations change public discourse on some of the most pressing issues in education, maternal and child health, and social justice issues.

Before joining Collaborative, Madi led strategic public relations and communications efforts to support a variety of organizations, including D.C. Public Schools, Amplify Education, KIPP Charter Schools, the D.C. Mayor’s Office, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the National Black Child Development Institute, among others. She also served as a Communications and Education Policy Associate for the United Way Association of South Carolina where she assisted in the development and implementation of public affairs and advocacy campaigns and served as an education ambassador to the South Carolina State Senate.

In her early career, Madi worked on a variety of political campaigns including Beto O’Rourke for America and Dick Harpootlian for South Carolina State Senate. Madi holds a B.A. in public relations and political science, with a minor in education, from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College. She lives in Washington DC.
