As Collaborative’s public relations strategist, Madi supports clients across the K–20 continuum with strategies rooted in insight, storytelling, and collaboration to change the dialogue on some of the timeliest issues in education. Her experience with message testing and audience research ensures that clients can reach the right people with the right messages, whether through earned media, stakeholder engagement, or public awareness efforts.
Madi has partnered with nonprofit, philanthropic, government, and advocacy organizations to raise visibility for initiatives focused on early learning, maternal and child health, and educational opportunity. Her background in political campaigns and public affairs strengthens her ability to navigate dynamic communications landscapes and align messaging with broader policy and engagement goals.
Previously, Madi served as a Communications and Education Policy Associate at the United Way Association of South Carolina, where she supported advocacy campaigns and legislative outreach. Earlier in her career, she worked on state and national political campaigns, contributing to communications and outreach efforts.
Madi holds a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and political science, with a minor in education, from the University of South Carolina. Based in San Diego, she serves on The San Diego Foundation’s National Rainbow College Fund Scholarship Review Committee, supporting access to postsecondary education for LGBTQIA+ youth.
