Jen Peters is a communications strategist with over a decade of experience supporting initiatives across education, technology, and public health. She brings a strong blend of media expertise, policy fluency, and creative problem-solving to campaigns that seek to inform the public and influence change.
Her work has included leading national media efforts, building complex partnerships, and managing advocacy communications that support client goals. Jen has contributed to campaigns that increased public awareness of key issues—such as digital inclusion, education access, and child and family well-being—and has secured placements in major media outlets, supporting organizations in building visibility and momentum for their work.
Before joining Collaborative, Jen supported communications efforts for organizations including Playworks Northern California, the University of California, Berkeley, and Common Sense Media. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human development from California State University, East Bay and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
