Crystal Williams is a strategic communications and social impact professional who specializes in advancing equity-centered initiatives across the nonprofit and education sectors. She brings expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and people-first storytelling to support mission-driven organizations, programs, and partnerships.

Before joining Collaborative, Crystal led high-impact communications for Digital Promise, executing strategies that elevated workforce development, pathways research, and STEM initiatives. Her earlier experience at Tierney included managing national media relations, and she led outreach and events at Friends of the National Arboretum. Across roles, she has helped strengthen engagement, build visibility, and align stakeholders around shared goals.

Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity and collaboration in philanthropy and education. Through her career, she has championed approaches that elevate underrepresented voices and ensure that strategies reflect the communities they are designed to serve.

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University Maryland.
