Her work consistently strengthens youth-serving organizations and expands access and opportunity for young people.
At Collaborative, Itzel drives communications strategy, manages national learning networks, and supports large-scale convenings that connect leaders across the education and youth development landscape. She is known for her collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to turn complex ideas into clear, effective plans.
Itzel was named one of the National AfterSchool Association’s Next Generation of AfterSchool Leaders in 2019. She holds an MBA from Concordia University Texas and a BA in Urban Studies and Geography with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin.
