Itzel Gutierrez is a strategic and adaptable leader with more than 14 years of experience across the education, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. She translates big ideas into actionable strategies—aligning organizational goals with community needs, coordinating diverse teams, and delivering high-impact results. Her work consistently strengthens youth-serving organizations and expands access and opportunity for young people.

At Collaborative, Itzel drives communications strategy, manages national learning networks, and supports large-scale convenings that connect leaders across the education and youth development landscape. She is known for her collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and her ability to turn complex ideas into clear, effective plans.

Itzel was named one of the National AfterSchool Association’s Next Generation of AfterSchool Leaders in 2019. She holds an MBA from Concordia University Texas and a BA in Urban Studies and Geography with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin.
