National Staff Development Council
The National Staff Development Council (NSDC) is the largest non-profit professional association committed to ensuring success for all students through staff development and school improvement. NSDC views high-quality staff development programs as essential to creating schools in which all students and staff members are learners who continually improve their performance.
Collaborative supported the National Staff Development Council in its efforts to become the “go-to” resource on professional learning by conducting a comprehensive communications audit and making recommendations on ways to communicate the organization’s core messages stronger. The communications audit enabled the organization to conduct strategic conversations that led to significant changes in how the board of directors viewed the value of communications as well as the staffing structures and roles and responsibilities of key communications positions.
